 L A Aluminum Casting Company has been making castings for military applications for over 60 years. The castings provide strength, corrosion resistance, consistency, and meet all current military specifications for commercial grade permanent mold aluminum castings.
One of the unique features to L A Aluminum's castings are cast-in threaded steel inserts. The inserts eliminate tapped and threaded holes. The inserts give better strength and material properties to critical sealing surfaces. Casting-in threaded inserts saves machining time, and reduces the final cost to the customer.
 Our products can be found on 210,000 gallon, 50,000 gallon, 20,000 gallon, 10,000 gallon, 5,000 gallon, and 3,000 gallon fuel and water tanks. We make 2" LAT's, 4" LAT's and 6" LAT's. The company makes several other fittings for fuel cells and fuel tanks. Camlock-type fittings, caps, and plugs are all manufactured to meet military specifications.
